Penne with Vodka Sauce
Serves 6
Ingredients:
1 lb. penne pasta
¼ cup grated parmesan for sprinkling
3 oz. fresh basil, sliced thinly
Directions:
- To cook the pasta: fill a large pot with 6 quarts of water and 4 tablespoons of salt and bring to a boil. When water is boiling drop the penne pasta into the salted boiling water and cook to al dente (according to directions on the box)
- While the pasta boils, pour 1 jar of Terlato Kitchen Vodka Sauce into a saucepan and warm over medium heat until bubbling
- When pasta is cooked to al dente, drain and return the cooked pasta to the pot (or to a warmed serving bowl)
- Pour sauce over pasta and mix well
- Sprinkle pasta with parmesan cheese, serve to individual warmed bowls and garnish with basil
