Terlato Kitchen Baked Ziti

Serves: 6


    3 Tablespoons of Olive oil
    1 pound Italian sausage, casting removed
    1 medium onion, sliced
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 teaspoon fresh thyme, minced
    1 24 oz. jar of Terlato Kitchen Pomodoro Sauce
    1 pound Ziti pasta
    ½ pound mozzarella cheese, cut in 1" cubes
    1 cup fresh ricotta
    6 leaves basil, in ribbons
    2 rosemary sprigs, chopped
    ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
    olive oil to sprinkle or spray


        1. Over medium heat, cook the sausage, garlic and onions in the olive oil
        2. When sausage is cooked add the thyme and jar of Terlato Kitchen Pomodoro Sauce
        3. Cook ziti in salted boiling water and strain
        4. In a large bowl, mix ricotta, ½ of the parmesan and rosemary
        5. Mix pasta with cheese mixture and add mozzarella and basil
        6. Place in a casserole, sprinkle remaining parmesan on top
        7. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 15 minutes and serve
