Terlato Kitchen Penne Alla Fantasia

Serves 6


    2 Ounces extra virgin olive oil
    1 Medium onion, small dice
    1 Red bell pepper, medium dice
    1 Orange bell pepper, medium dice
    1 24 Ounce jar Terlato Kitchen Pomodoro Sauce
    4 Ounces Roquefort cheese, crumbled
    1 Ounce heavy cream, to blend with the Roquefort
    4 Basil leaves, julienned
    ½ Cup parmesan cheese, grated


      1. To cook the pasta: fill a large pot with 6 quarts of water and 4 tablespoons of salt and bring to a boil until al dente (according to directions on the box)
      2. While the pasta boils, heat the olive oil in a heavy saucepan and sauté onion and peppers until tender and just beginning to brown at the edges
      3. Add Terlato Kitchen Pomodoro sauce and reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes
      4. Drain pasta, and place in a warmed serving bowl or the pot pasta was cooked in
      5. Add Terlato Pomodoro sauce, the Roquefort and cream
      6. Toss well
      7. Garnish with the parmesan and basil
